San Francisco, CA
In accordance with San Francisco historic preservation requirements, this live/work artist's studio was built on the footprint of an existing dilapidated carriage house. With a large skylight and sliding glass doors that open onto a private garden, the building blurs interior and exterior space. Clad in reclaimed redwood siding from the original structure, and heated by a solar powered radiant floor system, the project strives to incorporate sustainable principles while creating an inspiring work space.
